17-year-old freestyle skier Simona Revjagin won a gold medal in the slopestyle and a silver medal in Big Air. Figure skaters, 14-year-old Elina Goidina and 15-year-old Vladislav Churakov, won silver. 15-year-old snowboarder Laura Anga won silver in the slopestyle, Cross-country skier Gerda Kivil ended Estonian cross-country skiers' 30-year medal drought at the Youth Olympic Festival by winning a bronze medal in the freestyle sprint.

"We have received many congratulations from the representatives of other countries. Even the president of the European Olympic Committees, Spyros Kapralos, knew exactly how many medals Estonia has won. Team Estonia won 6 medals at the Bakuriani Youth Olympic Festival
Team Estonia youth team finished the European Youth Winter Olympic Festival in Bakuriani, Georgia with 6 medals. Ranking the medal table by medals, Estonia ended up fifth. Only France (19), Italy (16), Switzerland (11), and the Czech Republic (7) were ahead of Estonia. Of our close neighbors, Finland won four medals, while Latvia and Lithuania did not win any medals.
